7 Days Rwanda safari taking you through three National parks the country has namely; Nyungwe National Park; a home to 13 primates species including Rwenzori colobus, L’Hoest’s monkey, Silver monkey, Owl faced monkey and the Grey cheeked Mangabey, Volcanoes national park; home to 360 Mountain Gorillas and Lake kivu for relaxing and lastly Kigali city tour before departure. 7 day safari activities include excellent birding, gorilla trekking, primates tracking and scenic viewing among others.

Day 1: Arrival in Kigali and transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park
Upon your arrival, meet our guide for a transfer to Nyungwe forest National Park. Have en route stopovers at Gikongoro for a visit to the Genocide memorial grounds. Have lunch en route and later proceed with a journey to the park with a stopover at the Royal Palace in Nyanza as it displays the original items and history of the Old Mwami- former King. Arrive in Nyungwe for a check in at your selected lodge for diner and overnight stay at Nyungwe forest lodge (luxury), Nyungwe top view Hotel (deluxe), and Gisakula hotel (budget)
Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and canopy walk
After a warm breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters foe a short briefing about the chimp trekking experience and afterward head into the forest in search for the chimps. Watch out for other primates such as the Rwenzori colobus, Angola colobus Monkey, silver monkey and many more. Return for Lunch which will be followed by a canopy walk in the forest. Dinner and overnight stay at Nyungwe forest lodge (luxury), Nyungwe top view Hotel (deluxe), and Gisakula hotel (budget)
Day 3: Transfer to Volcanoes National park
Have breakfast and embark on a scenic drive to volcanoes national park located in the south western part of Rwanda at the foot hills of Virunga Volcanoes. Upon arrival, you will check in at the lodge, relax as you also prepare for the next days activity. Dinner and overnight stay at Mountain gorilla view lodge (Luxury)/ La Palme Hotel (Deluxe)/ Muhabura Hotel (Budget)
Day 4: Gorilla trekking and Cultural walk
After breakfast, you head to the park headquarters together with your packed lunch for the gorilla trekking adventure immediately after being briefed by the park rangers. This takes about 2-6 hours and once you come across the Gorillas, all the troubles you have gone through to reach them will be easily forgotten and instead utilize the1 hour you have with them to get an incredible experience. On your return, you will have a community walk to the Banyarwanda people as you will their different practices and also explore more about their unique culture. Dinner and overnight stay at Mountain gorilla view lodge (Luxury)/ La Palme Hotel (Deluxe)/ Muhabura Hotel (Budget)
Day 5: Golden monkey/ Dian fossey hike and Nature walk
After breakfast, you head to the park headquoters for another primate adventure. You will track golden monkeys and also get a chance of viewing other primates along the way. Alternatively, you may choose to visit the Karisoke research center for a hike to the Dian fossey tombs. Later in the afternoon after lunch, you will have a nature walk to the twin lakes. Dinner and overnight stay at Mountain gorilla view lodge (Luxury)/ La Palme Hotel (Deluxe)/ Muhabura Hotel (Budget)
Day 6: Transfer to Lake Kivu
After breakfast, you will check out at your selected lodge and transfer to Lake Kivu. Reach early enough for lunch which will be followed by a boat cruise on Lake Kivu to the different islands. Dinner and overnight at Lake Kivu Serena hotel (Luxury)/ Palm Gardens resort (Deluxe)/ Paradise marahide (Budget)
Day 7: Transfer back to Kigali and departure
After breakfast, you will transfer back to Kigali for a city tour that will enable visit places that you might have missed on day 1. Visit the handicraft markets, the local markets, the museum and Genocide memorial grounds and the education center. Later transfer to the Airport for your scheduled flight back home
