Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe-Kidepo National Park
Upon Arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be transferred with your guide to Kidepo National park by a charter aircraft. Overnight stay at Apoka lodge. Meal plan: B-L-D.

Day 2: Kidepo National Park
After breakfast, you will take a game drive to explore the vast plains of the ‘Africa’s True Wilderness’. This game drive is likely to reward you with sights of over 77 mammal species of which 28 are endemics to this Park in Uganda and include the bat-eared fox, stripped hyena, aard wolf, caracal and the fastest land mammal; the cheetah.

Watch out for other species like the lion, leopard, spotted hyena, black backed and side stripped jackal, Less common ungulates like greater and lesser Kudu, chandlers Mountain reedbuck, klipspringer and Guenther’s Dikdik and the large ungulates like the elephant, Burchell’s Zebra, bush pig, warthog, Rothschild’s giraffe, cape buffalo eland, bush buck, duiker, Defassa waterbuck, Bohor reedbuck, Jackson’s hartebeest and Oribis. As you drive through the shrubs along the Narus valley, you are likely to see the park’s 5 species of primates including the Kavirondo bush baby that is only found in Kidepo in the whole country. Do not forget to look out for the Park’s 463 bird species including the endemic ostrich, and other small birds like the Secretary bird, Abyssinian ground hornbill, kori bustard, carmine, little green and red-throated bee eaters among others. This Park will give you gaiety and memorable safari due to its unique species and facts. Remember that Kidepo is the park with the largest single herd of Buffalos in Africa.

Day 3: Kidepo-Gulu Town
After breakfast, drive southwest to Kitgum for a lunch stop and later continue south west to Gulu town for an overnight stay. While there, you may take a simple tour around the town as you experience the natives’ way of life through interaction. Overnight at Bomah hotel Gulu / Churchill Court hotel. Meal plan: B-B.

Day 4: Gulu- Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, drive south west to Murchison falls through Chobe gate. Carry on with a visit to the top the falls after taking your lunch. The walk to the top of the falls is rewarding with spectacular view of the ‘hardest’ waterfalls in the World as the Nile forces itself through a 7m wide gap before striking 42m deep into the gorge producing a rainbow and a thunderous roar.
Continue and check in at Paraa safari lodge/ Budongo Eco lodge/ Redchilli hotel for dinner and overnight stay. Meal plan: B-L-D.

Day 5: Murchison Falls National Park
Take an early game drive after breakfast as you explore the Uganda’s largest conservation area. Look out for plenty of Wildlife including about 76 mammal species inclusive of the elephants, buffalos, Rothschild giraffe, hartebeest, and the cob. Also featuring in this park are the members of the cat family like the lions and leopards.

Remember to look out for over 450 bird species in this area including the rare shoebill stock. Return to your lodge for lunch and later carry out a boat cruise along the Nile to the bottom of the falls. You will be mesmerized by the Uganda’s largest population of Nile crocodiles, herds of hippos and a plethora of water birds that throng the banks of the World’s longest River. Return to the lodge in the evening for an overnight stay. Meal Plan: B-L-D.

Day 6: Murchison Falls-Semliki National park.
After an early Breakfast, cross the Nile by a ferry, and drive through the southern part of the park as you look out for plenty of wild life. Continue through Masindi to Hoima town where you will stop for a lunch break. Proceed after lunch to Semuliki National park as you enjoy the captivating sight of the Western rift valley. Overnight stay and dinner at Semuliki Safari lodge. Meal plan: B-L-D.

Day 7: Semuliki National Park
After breakfast embark on a rewarding nature walk to the hot springs at Sempaya, where you are likely to be fascinated by plenty of bird species before reaching at the Hot springs.

The Sempaya hot springs are the major attraction of this park and are formed by two main springs with the outer most dominated by a boiling geyser (103 degrees) that spurts up to 2m high. You will be stunned to see people boiling eggs in some small bubbling pools of water. Return for lunch at the lodge and relax in the afternoon as you prepare to set off for Kibale the following day. Overnight stay at Semuliki Safari lodge. Meal plan: B-L-D.

Day 8: Semuliki-Kibale National park
Depart after breakfast and drive southeast to Kibale national Park with a lunch stop in Fort Portal town as you glance at the snow capes of Mt.Rwenzori depending on the day’s weather. Overnight stay at Primate Lodge / Chimp nest /Rwenzori Guest house. Meal plan: B-L-D.

Day 9: Kibale National park
After breakfast, assemble at the park headquarters at Kanyanchu for briefing by a senior UWA guide. You will later set off for Chimpanzee tracking in this big forest where you may be rewarded by the sights of Uganda’s largest population of chimpanzees alongside a variety of other 12 primate species that embrace this Primate ‘capital’ of the world.

You may also be blessed with sights of forest elephants, bush pigs, and duikers in addition to plenty of 325 bird species recorded in Kibale forest. Other primate species like, L’hoests monkey, grey cheeked mangabey, East Africa’s largest population of the threatened Red colobus monkey, black and white colobus, red-tailed monkey, blue monkey, potto, bush baby and olive baboon will augment you trekking experience with great merriment. Return for lunch at the lodge before going for the afternoon nature walk in Bigodi swamp. Overnight stay at Primate Lodge / Chimp nest /Rwenzori Guest house. Meal plan: B-L-D.

Day 10: Kibale – Queen Elizabeth National park
After breakfast, you will set off for Queen Elizabeth via Kasese where you will have a lunch stop. Proceed further south and get a mini stop at the equator for a photo and later carry on to Queen Elizabeth national park as you enjoy magnificent view of wild life in this East Africa’s most diversified National park as well as the magnificent craters on the way to your lodge. Overnight stay at Jacana Safari lodge / Bush lodge / Simba safari lodge. Meal Plan: B-L-D.

Day 11: Queen Elizabeth National park
Take an early breakfast at dawn and then embark on a rewarding game drive where you are likely to view some of the park’s 96 mammal species including four of the big five species of mammals(lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos), and smaller species like the cobs, impala, gazelle, and other antelope species among others. Watch out for over 600 bird species that inhabit this park.

You will then return for lunch and later take an afternoon boat cruise along Kazinga channel which is likely to reward you with captivating view of crocodiles, hippos, and other animals that normally converge for water on this channel as well as a variety of birds both migrant and resident species. Overnight stay at Jacana Safari lodge / Bush lodge / Simba safari lodge. Meal Plan: B-L-D.

Day 12: Queen Elizabeth-Bwindi National park
Start the day with breakfast and then embark on your way to Bwindi via Ishasha where you will have an entrancing view at the tree climbing lions as they rest in the fig trees.

You will then have lunch and then drive further south to Bwindi National park. Overnight stay at Gorilla forest camp/ Gorilla mist camp / Buhoma community bandas. Meal plan: B-L-D.

Day 13: Bwindi National park
Take an early breakfast and report to the park headquarter for briefing by a senior UWA guide about Gorilla tracking. Begin your jauntiness expedition to track man’s evolutionary cousin whose existence has been severely threatened to about 750 individuals in the whole world.

Tracking these gentle giant apes is one of the most interesting, and delightful activities on any African safari. While on this trek, one may also sight an assortment of Bwindi’s bird and animal species including about 350 bird species of which 7 are on the IUCN red data list and a number of forest antelopes and about 10 primate species. Return to the lodge for lunch and relax at the lodge in the afternoon. Overnight stay at Gorilla safari lodge/ Gorilla mist camp / Bakiga lodge. Meal plan: B-L-D.

Day 14: Bwindi-Bunyonyi
After breakfast, transfer to Bunyonyi through the ‘Switzerland’ of Africa; Kabale as you enjoy the scenic view of its surging hills adorned with terraces. Upon arrival, you will take a boat trip on L. Bunyonyi which is the 2nd deepest lake in Africa dotted with several islands as you look out for a diversity of bird species that inhabit the lake where the lake derives its name which means many small birds. Overnight stay at Heritage lodge / Arcadia Cottages / Bunyonyi Overland. Meal plan  B-L-D.

Day 15: Bunyonyi-L.Mburo National park
After your breakfast, you will set off for L. Mburo National park as you drive north east and have a lunch stop in Mbarara town. Carry on to L.Mburo through Sanga gate. On arrival, embark on a boat cruise on L.Mburo where you will be rewarded with stunning sights of hippos and crocodiles as well as plenty of bird life including the rare shoe bill stock. Other birds include the papyrus yellow warbler, African fin foot, Carruther’s Cisticola among others. Return for an overnight stay at Mihingo Lodge/ Mburo safari lodge/ Rwonyo safari lodge. Meal plan: B-L-D.

Day 16: L.Mburo National Park
After your morning breakfast, you will carry out a game drive to view about 68 mammal species that dwell in this savannah park. You are likely to be rewarded with enchanting sights of the Cape buffalo, Burchell’s Zebra, the eland, Oribis, Reedbuck, waterbuck, sitatunga, impala and the topi among others as well as hyenas and leopards.

You may also look out for a list of 315 bird species recorded in this park. Then embark on your Safari to Kampala with a lunch stop at the Equator. Overnight stay at Sheraton hotel / Cassia lodge / la Petit Vilage. Meal plan:

Day 17: Kampala-Jinja
Depart for Jinja after breakfast to the source of the Nile where you will visit Ghandi’s monument and reach the spot where the Nile leaves the lake. Proceed to Itanda for rafting as you cruise past the six grades of rapids. After this thrilling adventure, you will have lunch and later check in at Jinja Haven eco-lodge/ Nile Anchors palace/ Sunset hotel for an overnight stay and dinner. Meal plan: B-L-D

Day 18: Jinja-Sipi falls.
Take breakfast at dawn and drive northwest through Mbale to Sipi falls. On your nature walk, you will be rewarded with spectacular views of the Sipi falls along Sipi River that originates from Mt. Elgon as well as the caves in the area.

You will also glance at the Once Africa’s Tallest mountain; Elgon which now stands in the 8th position due to erosion. Return to Mbale for lunch and later check in at Mbale resort for an overnight stay and dinner. Meal plan B-L-D

Day 19: Sipi falls-Kampala
After breakfast, drive back to Kampala with a lunch stop in Jinja as you interact with local people in the area. Overnight stay at Sheraton hotel / Cassia lodge / la Petit Village. Meal plan:

Day 20: Kampala city tour
After your breakfast, take a tour of Kampala city, looking out for the Uganda museum, the only temple in Africa for the Bahai faith, Namugongo shrines, Kasubi tombs, Kabaka’s lake, Namirembe and Lubaga cathedrals among others. Return for lunch at the hotel and relax in the afternoon as you plan for your departure the following day. Overnight stay at Sheraton hotel / Cassia lodge / la Petit Village. Meal plan: B-L-D.

Day 21: Departure
After breakfast, you may go for shopping as you prepare to return home depending on your flight schedule.
